Maternity sessions are held between 27 and 35 weeks and can be done either in studio or on location (mostly at sunset).
Pregnancy is such a beautiful time in a woman’s life – a time when you can celebrate your gorgeous shape and the amazing gift of new life you are creating. I aim to make your photography experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and to provide you with some stunning images to remember your pregnancy by .
Once your precious new arrival is here, you will be surprised by the fact that you may actually “miss” your belly!
I have a range of maternity dresses, gowns and drapes available to use during your session.
I also recommend to make the most out of your session & think about getting you hair and makeup done for your session.
If you are interested in combining your maternity and newborn photography session, please let me know as I have a special offer!
Photographing newborns is a unique experience with each and every baby. Just like any person they have their own personalities, likes & dislikes. I like to work with your baby & capture their individual real moments. In a mix of posed & lifestyle.
Booking in your newborn photography session is recommended whilst you are still pregnant. This will ensure you are scheduled in. We pencil in your due date & once your baby arrives pop me on the list of people to tell so we can schedule the session date.
I photograph newborn babies in the first two weeks of life. This is when they’re usually the most sleepy.
Newborn sessions in my Wodonga studio are unhurried. Sessions are Monday-Friday and start at 10am. Sessions run for 2-4 hours which allows us time for feeding, cuddles and of course portraits. (please still get in touch if your baby is older as I can accommodate the older baby also).
Your baby is my guide for the session. Beautiful soft lighting and simple cloth backgrounds. Gently posing baby into poses comfortable for them.
Ideally session go the smoothest when babies are soundly sleeping, but should your baby want to remain awake we will adjust our plans accordingly.
